Why hire a birth photographer?
I'll be honest with you when I say my heart is with birth, this without a doubt is what I want to specialize in for photography. I for one, didn't have the best birth with my daughter - and with that, is where my journey here starts. Birth can be unpredictable, to say the least. No matter how fast or slowly things move along, I will be there. I not only want to be there for you to photograph your experience but also be there for you, supporting you through this life changing moment.
I document from active labor through two hours postpartum. That's right - no matter how long that takes, I will be there during that time.
Birth
Whether it be a home or hospital birth, I will document all of those moments leading up to and when you finally hold your sweet baby in your arms. We can schedule an in person or video consultation to discuss your preferences and my role.
My first few births are a discounted rate of $695.00 +tax, there is a retainer of of $250 due at booking which goes towards your total.

Fresh 48
A Fresh 48 session captures your little one’s first hours along with your first moments as a new family in the hospital or place of birth. These sessions are held within the first 24-48 hours of your baby’s life. These sessions also do not include poses or props as its a lifestyle session.

Newborn Session
Newborn sessions take place in my studio when your baby is 5-21 days old. Once you book, you will receive a prep/information guide to help you prepare for the session.
All props and accessories are provided. If you have sentimental items such as knitted blankets or special clothing items you would to include, please inform me ahead of time so I can be prepared. I will make every effort to incorporate them into your session.
Please contact me during your third trimester to ensure availability.

When should I reach out?
As soon as you find out you're expecting is a great time to reserve your due date with me, although its never too late to reach out and see if I have availability.
What if I don't want any of my pictures shared online?
That is not a problem for me, this is your story. This is such a powerful and beautiful moment but this is also one of the most vulnerable moments as well. You can find peace knowing that your birth is safe with me.
